Make sure your motherboard and processor officially support DDR4-3200. If they max out at lower speeds, the RAM will downclock to the maximum supported speed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
You might need to enable XMP (Intel) or DOCP (AMD) or equivalent in BIOS to get full speed. If the BIOS is locked or limited by the OEM (sometimes with prebuilt PCs), you may be stuck at base speeds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Dual-channel configuration gives better performance. If mixing different speeds or capacities, the system tends to run at the slowest module\u2019s speed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
