🔍 Is It a Good Buy?
Given the specs and the current prices:
-
If your system supports PCIe 5.0 ×4, and you do tasks that benefit from very high sequential and random I/O (video editing, 4K/8K workloads, large file transfers, possibly AI/data-science work), especially compared to what such performance used to cost. You get cutting-edge performance.
-
If you are mostly gaming, everyday usage, or your system is only PCIe 4.0, you might not need this level of performance. A good Gen4 NVME SSD might offer much of what you’d notice at far lower cost.
